Reception Bake Bread for Harvest

This week we have been focusing on the story of 'The Little Red Hen' as part of our Harvest celebrations.
To end our week, the children had a go at making their own bread. They enjoyed mixing the ingredients and were very interested in the colour of the mix and how it changed as the water was added.
As the bread cooked our classroom was full of the most amazing smells, which they said made them feel very hungry!
Next week we shall be continuing our work on our family and our home and will be exploring Brentford and making maps.
