Problem solving in Year 6

A Friday is often problem solving in Year 6 maths lessons. In October we were investigating calculating units of time e.g. 'How many seconds are there in 7 and a half hours? Children worked together to solve the question but they also had to record their thoughts and working methods clearly so others can follow what to do.
