Pottery in 4L

In Topic this half term year 4 have learnt about Ancient Greece. They learnt many interesting facts about the states, how Greek homes are different to how they are now in Greece, what food was eaten, the clothes and jewellery worn, what happened and caused the Trojan war, about the battle of Marathon, what Greek temples looked like and were used for, what games were played in the Olympics and how it's different to the Olympics we watch now and about the Greek Gods and Goddesses.
To complete our learning on Ancient Greece the children designed and made Greek style pots from clay. On these pots they will paint images to represent Gods, Goddesses or the olympics.
