Playscripts

In English Year 6 have been exploring the tragedy of 'Romeo and Juliet'. We wrote our own play scripts to show the moment Benvolio tells Romeo that Juliet is dead (believing it to be true).
The children then worked in pairs to rehearse and then perform the scripts, adding in some actions and improvisation. I was particularly impressed at the use of Shakespearean language.
