On Thursday the 2nd of May, a group of children in Reception and Year One, together with 5 mums, visited the Salopian Garden in Isleworth.
The children had an amazing time. Using colour charts, they explored the kitchen garden to see which plants matched the different shades of colours on their charts. Then the children took part in a carousel of 6 different activities; these were seed planting, making a seed bomb, watering the plants, looking for bugs, making a bug hotel and feeding the chickens. The children loved feeding the chickens and were very calm with them. We enjoyed a picnic lunch together in the poly tunnel greenhouse.
The Salopian Garden is having a Family Open Day on Sunday 5th of May. For more information on their Open Days, click here.

Thank you to the Salopian Garden for giving us the seed bombs and pots of seeds and for a wonderful experience!
