Our first day
6KL enjoyed catching up with each other and settling into their new classroom and routines today. We are thrilled to be able to have the tables and classroom as we used to and to be able to share work together once more.
As part of our day we discussed the power of the word 'yet' and how it can change phrases, and our attitude, from negative to positive. For example, "I can't do this...YET!" After further conversation about the importance of thinking positively and believing in ourselves this year, the children chose their own motivational quote and put them into their RSHE books. These will serve as a reminder throughout the year to be optimistic, believe in ourselves and that it is okay to make mistakes.
