Nursery go on a Spring Hunt in the park

The Nursery children were very excited today as we finally got to do an activity outside of the school grounds. We spent half an hour walking around the park looking for signs that it is Spring. The children really enjoyed looking out for flowers, trees, insects and birds nests and then ticking them off on their check sheets. They explored the different textures of tree bark and learnt how a dandelion spreads its seeds around.
