Each day in Nursery the children are taking part in lots of activities to develop their fine motor skills and hand-eye co-ordination. Activities involving threading, pincer movements, arrangement of shapes and all help to build and strengthen the muscles in the children's hands, wrists and arms and therefore get them ready to hold a pencil with good control for writing; they're also lots of fun.
