Nursery find out that autumn is here

The Nursery children really enjoyed our walk around the park to look for signs that autumn has truly arrived. They spotted red, yellow, brown and orange leaves and enjoyed watching them fall from the trees. They also spotted some mushrooms (and were very careful not to touch them and they noted the grass and spider webs were wet with dew.
Their favourite spot however was the squirrels who were busy collecting up food to store for winter.
They then posed for photos on a bench and at the newly restored drinking fountain.
Miss Browne and Miss Weeks were very impressed with how well the children behaved on their first trip out of school.
