Nursery are waiting for some very special arrivals

This half term we have been learning about ‘Minibeasts’. We have found out about snails and ladybirds and butterflies.
To help us understand how these creatures grow and change over their lifetime we have been looking after some very special visitors. We have caterpillars!
We have watched the caterpillars grow from tiny little creatures into big hairy caterpillars and are now waiting patiently for them to hatch from their cocoons.
We cannot wait to meet them and see what beautiful colours they are!
