Years 5 and 6 have started to read the text 'Street Child' in English. So far we have met the Jarvis family, living in Victorian London, and struggling to get by. Today we worked together to create a series of freeze frames to depict key moments for the family so far, including being evicted from their home. We discussed how we thought the characters might be feeling and wrote 'thought tracks' for our chosen characters to support our drama. We considered how to use our facial expressions and body language to convey our character's feelings.
