Maths in the Playground!

On Tuesday, 2V took advantage of the beautiful weather and did their Maths lesson outside!
They were split into teams of 3 and one at a time, a child had to ‘bunny hop’ to a container of addition/subtraction questions (some even involving 3 numbers to add or subtract!), then ‘bunny hop’ back to their team. The team would then work together to solve the question, before sending the next child to hop to get the next question!
Once all the questions were completed, the children had the additional challenge of arranging the cards so that the answers were put in order from the lowest to highest number.
The children were completely engaged—both mentally and physically!
