Good roots run deep

In our RE lessons we have been exploring Remembrance Day and its origin, purpose and how it is marked across Churches and the world. We took these ideas and created a classroom display filled with reflections, prayers and bible passages in order to help us remember all of those affected by war, both past and present. 

I was really moved and impressed by the sensitivity ad maturity shown by the children, and their understanding of the symbol of the poppy.
