Dear Parents,

It seems highly likely that the school closure programme will remain in place for some time.

We have therefore prepared resources to support learning, particularly for the majority of families who are not currently attending school. As we have consistently stated, we do not anticipate turning every home into a school and we certainly do not want to add any stress or pressure at a time where there may be illness or anxiety in a family. However, we are keen to develop our education offer to provide curriculum support for all families during the summer term.

Our resources bring together learning materials commissioned by the government through the BBC, other commercial resources that meet the primary curriculum and bespoke resources that have been adapted from the school’s curriculum.

In the Downloads section is a PDF ‘Dashboard’. This has hyperlinks in each of the circles, which will help you to locate and access the full range of learning tasks and resources.

The NSPCC have also collated a set of advice and guidance to support parents and children during the Coronavirus shutdown. There is advice on home schooling, mental health, internet safety and more.

Here is a link to the NSPCC website

I hope that you will find the resources that we have collated and created useful during the school’s closure. We shall continue to add further content to our Facebook page over the next few weeks.

The school office and other facilities are currently much reduced. The school is not open during the day. If you need to make contact, please use the office email address: office@stpauls.hounslow.sch.uk
