Happy World Book Day from 1S!

The children had lots of fun today!
The day began with a whole school parade and everyone enjoyed looking at the different costumes. The children then took part in a BBC live lesson. They heard from different authors and illustrators and were then challenged to draw five pictures outline their favourite story.
Everyone had lots of fun designing their own book mark and also making their own puppet of their favourite book character. The children were engaged and excited to share their favourite stories with their classmates.
