Good roots run deep

Every Friday the children take part in a handwriting lesson. For this lesson the children have to perform exercises that help to strengthen their gross motor skills (large movements) and fine motor skills (small movements.) The children enjoy these activities and it helps to warm them up. We then practise writing the chosen sound. The children pretend to write it in the air, on the interactive board and on their own whiteboard. The children then practise writing the sounds in their handwriting book. They tried really hard today and they are doing so well!
