Great Fire of London Art

This term, 2V have been learning all about the Great Fire of London that happened in 1666. We know the causes for why it happened, the firefighting equipment that was used to put it out, factors that helped the fire stop completely, and some of the ways London was changed after the fire.

One of our last projects was to complete a piece of silhouette art. We painted a background of fire and then drew the outline of a 1666 London street. Then we cut out the street. We had to concentrate to make sure we cut out our street silhouette in one piece!

Check out some photos of us completing our artwork and some of the finished pieces.

If you see any of us, give us a quiz question on our Great Fire of London knowledge!
