Florence Nightingale visits Year 2

Year 2 were very excited to have Florence Nightingale visit St Paul’s School. She spent the morning talking to the children about her life and how she helped as a nurse. The children were captivated by her and it was clear that they had remembered lots about her and Mary Seacole, as they were able to answer lots of questions. The children participated in a bit of acting, where they were put into groups. One children had to be a wounded soldier and the other children had to be Florence. It was a wonderful workshop that the children throughly enjoyed.
