Finding Half

This week in Maths, Class 1B have been looking at halving and doubling. On Friday, they looked at finding half of different shapes. They had to draw round a shape, cut it out then see how many different ways they could fold the shape in half. This wasn't as easy s they first thought, but with a bit of practice they all did really well. Some of the children even found a connection between the number of sides a shape has and the number of ways it can be folded in half. Do you know the rule?
