Exploring Settings in 3R

Today in our English lesson we have been exploring story settings and thinking of words which we can use to describe them. We also talked about similes and how we can use these to make our writing more interesting.
The children had a great time exploring the different settings and came up with some great descriptive words.
They then wrote their own description of a setting using the ideas they had gathered.
