Eco Club: Small steps, big impact

Today we held our first fantastic session of Eco Club. Pupils from Years 2 and 6 came together to begin to learn about the environmental issues in the world and how we might be able to make small changes in school and at home. We talked about how even small steps can make a big difference and the children were very eager to help look after our local area.
I was really impressed by how well the children worked together and we came up with 'Eco Codes' for the school. These will be put up around the school to help encourage others to make small changes to reduce waste; encourage recycling; conserve power and look after the world around us. I can't wait to meet with the Eco Club again next time!
