Drawing in 2V

This half term, Year 2 have been developing their drawing skills. We have been focusing on using correct proportions when drawing facial features and placing these features correctly on the face.
Today, the children drew a portrait of themselves as king or queen. They had to consider what they would be wearing, what symbols of power they would include and what would be in the background. They know that all these details are very important as all portraits send a message!
Tomorrow we will be using water colours to paint our portraits. Stay tuned for 2V's finished work!
