Good roots run deep

As we are now in our second week into Number November, the children were asked to compare different amounts. Children were then asked to compare a variety of representations, including real life objects. They were encouraged to use the vocabulary more than, less than and equal to and the symbols < , > and =. The children were great at this and they were also able to show their reasoning, explaining why they have chosen a certain symbol.
