Caribbean Dancing in 1S

Yesterday, 1S enjoyed a Caribbean Dance Workshop.
The workshop began with the children listening to some Reggae music which they all enjoyed. They then participated in some warm up movements and focused on taking deep breaths in, holding it and then letting it out. And then, they danced!
The children showed great excitement learning the different movements, some of the favourites being the ostrich, the elephant and the washing machine. They were then given the opportunity to ‘freestyle’ and show off their own dance moves.
Everyone enjoyed the workshop and had great fun!
