This half term in Science, we have been learning all about food chains, habitats and micro-habitats! A micro-habitat is a small area that has the perfect conditions for a certain type of living thing.
We created ‘Bug Hotels’ so that critters could have somewhere protected from the weather to shelter for a little while. We used milk jugs and rolled up sections of newspaper. Every newspaper tube is a little ‘room’ for a critter!
