Baptism

This week in our RE lesson, 2V learned all about Baptism.
We know that another word for Baptism is 'Christening' and that it means that someone is officially joining the Christian Church.
When people are baptised, they are blessed and either immersed in water or have some water sprinkled/poured on their forehead. The water symbolises the purifying of the soul so that you are ready to have a friendship with God.
We made baptism cards for someone who has just been baptised.
