Apply for a Secondary School Place - Sept 2022
This week we held a meeting for parents of children in Years 5 and 6 to explain the process to apply for a secondary school place for September 2022. I have recorded a brief video to explain the process for parents who were unable to attend. The notes from the meeting and the application booklet for Hounslow schools is attached to the foot of this item. If you have a child in Year 6, you must submit your application for a secondary school by 31st October at the very latest. Please do not miss this deadline, as doing so will significantly reduce the chance of getting the school that you most want. If you need any help, please contact the school admissions department of your local authority or speak to us in school.
Parents with children in Year 5 may find it useful to attend some of the open evening events for schools before the October half term, in order to start thinking about what type of school they and their child might like to apply for next year.
