Good roots run deep

As part of our topic on Tudor exploration, we have been learning about the different job roles on board Tudor ships. Last week, children from 5K chose a job on board a Tudor ship and wrote a letter of application for the role. Each 'applicant' then read their letter to Captain Francis Drake (aka Mr. Kearney) who made decisions on who to hire. 

The letters were all exceptionally well written, and took into account the experience and skills that might make them well suited to the job for which they applied.
