4L celebrate Black History month

To celebrate black History month this year the children were learning about famous authors. 4L researched some different famous authors and then all voted to produce work about the famous author Malorie Blackman.
They enjoyed listening to some stories she had written, learning facts about her life and finding out what inspired her to become a writer.
Each class was also given some new books for our book corners written by famous black authors and we have enjoyed looking at these.
