3R investigate hats!

In our Topic lessons this week we have been finding out about the life and work of two famous milliners. We began our sessions learning about Phillip Treacy, a world famous milliner, who has created hats for Lady GaGa, Megan Markle and The Queen.
We looked at a selection of his most famous hats and then created our own hats, using his work as inspiration. The children successfully identified that he uses curves, height and feathers to add detail to his designs.
We then looked at the work of Rachel Trevor Morgan, another famous milliner who has worked with The Queen and a number of members of the Royal Family.
