3R are back!
What an amazing first week we have had back in school. The children have been extremely busy learning about all sorts if things.
We have started our new topic; London and New York: Cities that never sleep and had a great time learning about time zones. We also began our learning on rocks and soils in Science, with a walk around the school. The children were fascinated by the different types on bricks used in the construction of the school and finding out about how it has changed since it was first built.
In Maths this week we have been focusing on multiplication and formal methods for recording. They were so confident with the grid method and were able to multiply some tricky numbers.
We are looking forward to next week, when we will be focusing on London and learning more about our amazing capital city.
