2V Kick off Number November in Style

2V are very excited to celebrate maths all November long!
Last Friday, there were so many unique costumes showing all things maths—patterns, numbers, shapes and more! There were even homemade rulers and number crowns.
On Tuesday, we took part in an online ‘doubling’ workshop with many other schools all across England. We listened to a maths story and then used number cards to quiz each other on our doubling knowledge. We know that doubling is the same as multiplying by 2.
After, we completed a painting activity to show doubling. On one half of a piece of paper, we painted a design. After folding the piece of paper in half, our design was doubled!
