2K Enjoy World Book Day!

In celebration of World Book Day, we all came to school dressed as a favourite book character. There was a range of amazing costumes, and it was very clear that a great deal of thought, time and effort had gone into making them. Throughout the day we took part in a number of activities such as attending a costume parade, creating a front cover for our favourite book, and making our very own books. We were also very lucky to be visited by author and illustrator Seb Braun who talked about his job and then shared one of books he has worked on. We had a really great day celebrating reading. Well done to all the children on their fantastic costumes, and a big thank you to everyone at home who played a part in helping their children dress up today.
