2B visit Syon House

On Tuesday, 2B had a great visit to Syon House in Brentford. The children were split into groups and they each completed 4 workshops. In one workshop they had to go on a scavenger hunt and tick off the objects on their worksheet once they had found them. Another workshop included becoming an archaeologist, where the children had to dig for treasure! In a different workshop the children had look at different artefacts and then compare them to their modern day partner. In the final workshop, the children learnt about some of the different portraits in the house and they then had the opportunity to draw their own portrait! The children had an amazing day but they were very tired by the end of the day.
