1S Count More or Less

We have been very busy in our Maths lessons.
The children have been counting forwards and backwards using cubes, counters, number lines and hundred squares.
This week some of the children spotted a pattern when finding 10 more on a hundred square. If you add ten more, you simply need to move the counter to the number below. For example, 10 more than 25 would be 35.
The children enjoyed working in pairs and were quick to spot this pattern!
