150th years celebrations in 4L
This week the whole school has enjoyed taking part in various Victorian activities to celebrate the schools 150th year anniversary.
4L began the week by going on a walk to the steam museum to find out what steam and water would have been used for in Victorian Britain and how the building has changed over the years. The children drew some very detailed sketches showing the different features.
On Tuesday the children enjoyed making their own silhouette pictures and guessing who was who afterwards.
On Wednesday the children researched different Victorian inventions and made posters or fact files to share their information.
On Thursday the children got very creative and made their own kites.
The week allowed the children to find out more about the Victorian era whilst celebrating our schools 150th anniversary and having fun.
