Year 3 children write their own books

A small group of Year 3 children have been working on a book making project this half term. They made accordion books using cereal boxes and recycled paper. They used coloured tissue paper to ‘decopatch’ the front and back covers of the books. They wrote a title on the front of the books and a blurb on the back. They wrote their own stories and drew their own pictures. One book was about a dinosaur who met a bear. Another was a book of family photos and drawings. The last book was about a trick Horrid Henry played on Moody Margaret and how she got her revenge.
