Anti-Bullying Week 2016

Posted by Mr Wright on 14/11/16 at 11:04 AM

This morning in our whole school collective worship we launched our anti-bullying week. We considered what makes us different and what makes us the same. We also discussed how God intends for us each to be unique. We looked at what bullying is and why people bully. At the end of the worship we shared a golden rule: Treat others as you want to be treated. Each class will look in more detail at bullying behaviour and how to address it over the week.

Bullying is never acceptable and the school’s anti-bullying policy is accessible on our website. This sets out how we address incidents of bullying when they occur in the school.

There is an advice sheet for pupils and one for parents from the anti-bullying alliance attached in the downloads section to the right of this text.
